What mesh size tip filter should I use?

Use 30 mesh for heavy-body and high-viscosity coatings. Use 60 mesh for standard airless spray applications. Use 100 mesh for fine finish coatings and lacquers. A finer tip filter reduces tip blockages significantly.

Do I need a tip filter if I already have an inline filter?

Yes. The tip filter is the last-point filtration — it catches any particles that pass through the inline filter or that may come from the hose itself. It significantly reduces tip blockages and downtime.

What connection does my gun need?

Most VR Coatings manual airless guns use M18×1 tip connections (VRIL, AM250, FALCON AL). EAGLE and FALCON SS use 7/8" UNF connections. Check your gun specification to confirm the correct tip filter connection.
