FAQs — HP FILTER

What mesh size filter should I use?
Mesh size depends on your tip size and coating material. For airless spray, use 60–100 mesh for most coatings. For fine finish coatings, use 150–200 mesh. For heavy-body materials, use 30–60 mesh. Contact our technical team for a specific recommendation for your application.
How often should filter cassettes be replaced?
Replace filter cassettes when flow rate drops noticeably or when pressure drop across the filter increases. For high-volume production, inspect cassettes daily. Replacement takes under 2 minutes without tools.
What is the difference between HP 450 BAR and 350 BAR filters?
The 450 BAR HP filter is for the highest-pressure airless systems (EAGLE 500 BAR, FALCON SS 450 BAR). The 350 BAR filter suits systems running at up to 350 BAR. Always match the filter pressure rating to your system operating pressure.
