FAQs — BACK PRESSURE REG.

What is a back pressure regulator used for?
A back pressure regulator is fitted on the return line of a paint circulation system. It maintains a set pressure to keep paint circulating continuously — preventing paint settling in the lines, especially important for heavy-body and two-pack coatings.
Do I need HP or LP back pressure regulator?
If your system runs at high pressure (airless spray), use the HP back pressure regulator (350 BAR). For low-pressure circulation and air supply systems, use the LP version (18 BAR). Match the regulator rating to your system operating pressure.
Can back pressure regulators be operated pneumatically?
Yes. Back pressure regulators are available in both manual and pneumatically operated versions for remote or automated pressure control.
