Which KINGFISHER model is best for fine wood finishing?
For fine wood finishing and lacquers, the KINGFISHER BLUE or GOLD is recommended due to their finer nozzle range (1.2–1.8mm and 0.8–1.2mm). The SILVER with its 350mm fan is better suited for larger surface coverage applications.
Can KINGFISHER guns be used for 2-component paints?
Yes. KINGFISHER conventional guns can be used with 2-component paints when properly cleaned after each use. For production use with 2K paints, the pressure feed versions (GOLD and RED) are recommended.
What is the difference between gravity cup and pressure feed?
Gravity cup (SILVER and BLUE) feeds paint by gravity — suitable for small batches and colour changes. Pressure feed (GOLD and RED) connects to a pressure feed pot for continuous production and larger volumes.
